trying to get over a cold!

I have spent the past 4 days home with the worst cold. It started off Wednesday night with a bit of the sniffles and turned into a full blown cold on Thursday morning (101 degree fever and all). So what’s a girl to do? Besides eating soup and grilled cheese sandwiches, I used the time to watch my all time favorite tv series ever. SATC!

As I lay on the couch, in my NyQuil haze…I laughed and cried my way through the love lives of Carrie, Charlotte, Samantha, and Miranda. Oh, like the scene Big tells Carrie that he is engaged to Natasha?! That was one of the most powerful scenes in the series. Not necessarily the happiest, but definitely powerful.

Tia Yvett - ? ? SATC!Of course the last episode where Big picks Carrie and he says “You’re the one!” She waited so long for him to say that!

maritess - I heart SATC!!!!!!!!! We had a big girl’s gathering to watch it. It was definitely one of those movies you can girl bond to. One of the many fave scene of the series that comes to mind is when Carry ran into Aiden with his child. This made me think you can be friends with your past and be happy for them.

Juliet - Feel better soon! I agree, I can’t pick just one favorite moment!

James - There were too many classic moments to just name one.

MsBunn.com - The part when Carried bashed Big in the head with her wedding bouquet then Charlotte grabbed her tightly and stared down Big. Charlotte’s eyes said a lot; what a real friend would do at any given time, protect your friend from whatever or whomever is causing her pain.
