featured! jomie+ricky on green wedding shoes!

moments about my job that i love…

  • witnessing the immense love as a bride toasts to her groom, with tears of joy, saying how thankful she is to have met him and can’t wait to start their new lives together.
  • excitement, hugs, and giddiness as my couples see the entire wedding day come to be, and we can share in the fabulous “it’s finally here!” joy!
  • the “OMG are you serious?! we are going to be featured? that is soooo coooool!” texts that i get from my bride after sharing the fabulous news with them!

jomie & ricky’s wedding had all of these, and so much more. they are the kind of couple that excites what i do, and i knew that from the moment we met. to be honest, once jomie said “art gallery” and “gourmet sliders” i was in!!! (shh, i probably would have paid them to be a part of it all) haha! but in all honesty, they are one of the coolest peeps on the block, who aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty to give their wedding day that personal touch of love! i just loved every single piece of their day!

you’ve already seen our inspiration for their wedding, but definitely head over to their feature on green wedding shoes to get more details about the design and also hear what jomie & ricky loved most about their day!!

i definitely want to send lots of thanks to our awesome vendor team that made the entire wedding flawless, especially the immensely talented chaz cruz. he shot so many amazing images, it took me days to pick out favorites! i just want to take him with me everywhere so i always have insanely fabulous photos!! thank you as well to the lovely jen with green wedding shoes for sharing their story!

and of course much love, kisses, and hugs to jomie and ricky for bringing my onboard to help plan and design their colorful artist dream of a wedding! thank you for all the laughs, fun times, listening to my wacky ideas, being inspired by my wacky ideas to come up with your own wacky ideas, for delicious sliders and introducing me to the crosby…double yum!
